How we collect, use and protect the personal data you submit through zct-logistics.com — and how to exercise your rights.
Last updated: 27 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Shenzhen Huayishun International Logistics Co., Ltd. (trading as ZCT Logistics, “we”, “us”) handles personal data when you visit our website or contact us about our services.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Shenzhen Huayishun International Logistics Co., Ltd. (trading as Shenzhen ZCT Logistics Co., Ltd.), with offices at 103, Building B, No.3 Zaohekeng Industrial Area, Longgang District, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China; Room 503, Building E, Huidong International, No.16 Jinpu Road, Nanning, Guangxi, China; and RM.11-1A, 15/F Landmark North, 39 Lung Sum Avenue, Sheung Shui, NT, Hong Kong.
For any privacy request, email alan@zct-logistics.com or write to the address above marked “Privacy”.
2. What we collect
Information you give us. When you submit a quote request or contact form we collect your name, company, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, and the shipment details you choose to provide — for example origin, destination, cargo type, weight and volume.
Information collected automatically. Our web server records standard technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL and timestamps. This is used for security, performance and aggregate traffic analysis.
Communications. If you contact us by email, WhatsApp or phone we keep a record of that correspondence so we can follow up your enquiry and handle any dispute.
We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we do not collect payment card details through this website.
3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6) |
|---|---|
| Preparing and sending quotations, arranging shipments | Performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering a contract |
| Responding to enquiries and providing customer service | Legitimate interests — running our business and serving prospective customers |
| Customs, carrier and destination compliance filings | Legal obligation and performance of a contract |
| Website security, fraud prevention, server logs | Legitimate interests — protecting our systems and users |
| Sending service updates or commercial information | Consent, where required; you can withdraw it at any time |
Where we rely on legitimate interests we have assessed that our interests do not override your rights, given the business-to-business context of our services.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
This site uses a small number of cookies and local storage entries:
- Strictly necessary — set by our content management and caching systems to serve pages correctly and keep the site secure. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
- Analytics — we do not currently run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this site. If that changes we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before any non-essential tracker is set.
- Third-party embeds — WhatsApp and social media links may set cookies once you interact with them, under those platforms’ own policies.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the site works.
5. Who we share data with
We share only what is necessary to move your cargo or answer your enquiry:
- Shipping lines, airlines and co-loaders, to book space and issue documents
- Customs brokers, inspection bodies and port authorities, to clear your cargo
- Trucking and warehouse partners, to collect, store and load your cargo
- Destination agents, to coordinate delivery
- Our email, hosting and IT service providers, acting on our instructions
- Professional advisers or authorities, where required by law
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
6. International transfers
Our operations are based in mainland China and Hong Kong. Because we arrange international shipments, your data may be transferred to carriers, agents and authorities in the destination country. Where data originates in the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or on the necessity of the transfer for the performance of our contract with you.
7. How long we keep it
- Quotation enquiries that do not become shipments: up to 24 months
- Shipment and customs records: as long as required by Chinese, Hong Kong and destination-country law, typically 5 to 7 years
- Server logs: up to 12 months
- Marketing consent records: until you unsubscribe, plus a short period to demonstrate compliance
8. Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, request deletion where we have no ongoing legal or contractual need to keep it, object to or restrict certain processing including direct marketing, receive your data in a portable format, withdraw consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these, email alan@zct-logistics.com. We respond within 30 days. We may ask for information to verify your identity before acting on a request.
California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA. You may still request disclosure or deletion using the contact details above.
9. How we protect your data
Access to shipment and customer records is limited to staff who need it. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the site, access controls on our systems, and contractual confidentiality obligations with partners. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data.
10. Links to other sites
Our site links to WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and industry directories. Those services have their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services or the law. The “Last updated” date at the top always shows the current version. Material changes will be noted on this page.
