ZCT Logistics is the China-side office for overseas freight forwarders. We handle pickup, consolidation, export customs, reefer loading and port handling for the shipments you sell — and we handle cargo coming into China from your country too. You keep the customer, the quote and your name on every document.
Who we work with
We work with overseas freight forwarders, not with their customers. If you sell a shipment to a client in Europe, North America, Australia, Southeast Asia or the Middle East and need someone you can trust inside China, that is exactly who we are built for.
You quote the customer
Your rates, your routing instructions, your labels on the cartons. We quote you, and you decide what your customer sees.
We never contact your client
Not by phone, not by email, not quietly afterwards. Every question from us goes to you. This is the one promise we do not bend.
Two-way traffic
Most of our partners ship both ways: out of China, and into China. We handle the China end either direction.
What we handle for your outbound shipments
| Origin pickup | Refrigerated trucks for factory pickup across Guangdong and neighbouring provinces, including small quantities collected from several suppliers |
|---|---|
| Consolidation | Temperature-controlled consolidation warehouse in Shenzhen — sorting, palletizing, repacking, carton labelling and inventory checks |
| Export documents | Export declaration, CIQ, health certificate, certificate of origin including Form A and Form E, commercial invoice and packing list review |
| Reefer handling | 20’RF / 40’RF / 40’HQ RF, pre-trip inspection, temperature set and logged on every leg, logs sent to you after departure |
| Loading | Container loading supervised on site, with photos before sealing |
| Ports | Yantian, Shekou, Nansha, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Ningbo, Qingdao, Xiamen and Tianjin |
Cargo coming into China
A large part of our own business runs the other way: goods bought overseas and shipped into China. Our inbound volume comes mainly from North America and Europe, and that is exactly where we are looking for partners — the cargoes are usually going to a consignee who has no idea how Chinese food import clearance works, and someone has to be able to sign for it.
| Ports we clear | Every major Chinese port — Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Ningbo, Qingdao, Tianjin and others. We are not limited to South China. |
|---|---|
| Importer of record | We hold a food consignee record filing (食品收货人备案), so we can act as the consignee of record for imported food shipments — the part overseas forwarders usually get stuck on. |
| Import documents | Import declaration, inspection and CIQ handling, health certificate review, Chinese label compliance, and coordination with your export documents before sailing |
| Storage on arrival | Bonded storage and temperature-controlled storage, sorting, palletizing, relabelling, inventory checks |
| Delivery in China | Delivery to the consignee anywhere in China, including inland cities, with temperature logs returned after every leg |
| Main inbound trades | North America and Europe — these are the lanes we handle most and where we are actively adding agents |
Why this matters for you: most Chinese buyers cannot clear imported food themselves, and most forwarders cannot either. We can — which means you can quote delivered-in-China without having to build anything at this end.
Chinese label translation and compliance
Every prepackaged food shipment entering China has to carry a Chinese-language label that complies with GB 7718 (general labelling rules for prepackaged food) and GB 28050 (nutrition labelling). Overseas exporters rarely have anyone who can produce one, and a label that fails inspection stops the clearance: the container sits at the port, the consignee starts asking questions, and the cost lands on everyone in the chain.
We do this in-house. Our team are English majors — TEM-8 certified, China’s highest English-proficiency qualification for English majors — and we translate and rebuild labels for the Chinese market as part of the clearance work, not as an extra line item:
| Ingredient list | Translated into the Chinese regulatory wording, including additives and their permitted names |
|---|---|
| Nutrition panel | Converted to the GB 28050 format and the per-100 g / 100 ml basis Chinese inspectors expect |
| Allergens | Allergen declaration drafted to Chinese requirements |
| Mandatory particulars | Product name, net content, country of origin, Chinese importer, storage conditions, production date and shelf life in the format used in China |
| Relabelling on arrival | If goods land without Chinese labels, we apply them in our temperature-controlled warehouse before delivery |
| Before you ship | Send us the artwork and spec sheet with the booking — we flag what has to change before the container sails, not after it arrives |
Why this matters for you: on food cargo the label — not the freight — is usually the reason a shipment is held. Handled in-house, it means you can quote delivered-in-China to a food customer without building anything at this end.
1. You handle export
Booking, loading and export documents at your end, as you would for any of your own shipments.
2. We clear and deliver in China
Import customs clearance, CIQ and label compliance for food cargo, bonded or temperature-controlled storage, and delivery to the consignee anywhere in China.
3. Same standard both ways
Cold chain shipments are temperature-logged on arrival, and the log goes back to you.
If you handle frozen seafood, meat, fruit, wine or food ingredients into China, we can also talk through what the destination clearance actually requires before the container sails — labels, certificates and the rest.
What we look for in an agent
We are adding agents in North America and Europe first, because that is where our inbound cargo comes from. What we need from you is fairly simple:
- Replies within one business day. In this business the delay is usually the damage.
- Honest pricing the first time. We would rather have an uncompetitive rate than a surprise cost at destination.
- Bad news early. Tell us before the vessel sails, not after it arrives.
- Cold chain experience, if you want to work on temperature-controlled cargo with us.
How to start
1. Send us your lanes
The countries and ports you cover, the volumes you move, and whether you have customs licence scope at your end.
2. We start with one shipment
No network agreement, no membership fee. One shipment, handled properly, tells both sides everything.
3. We grow from there
Partners we work well with get our outbound enquiries in their country.
